Hannelie Venucia (previously Pienaar) started her career in Human Resources at the Head Office of a major Bank, and thereafter as a Recruitment Consultant specializing in Science and Engineering, performing psychometric testing. She has over 30 years of Management-, Change Management-, Creative Innovation-, Business-, IT-, HR-, Project Management-, Leadership-, and Strategy Consulting experience across 4 continents, of which a decade was with Deloitte Consulting.

A seasoned international public speaker,business philosopher, gifted workshop creator, passionate sensemaker, and embodied change facilitator, Hannelie has created, led, and facilitated various events, workshops, and programs in countries such as Japan (Speaker at the Society for Innovation in  Management Conference), Spain (Creative Leadership workshop), Romania(Sensemaking workshop at EU Open Innovation 2.0 Conference), Malaysia(Speaker at International Student Conference), Turkey (Several Creativity, Leadership Development, Women Empowerment, and Personal Development Workshops and Events), Zambia (Speaker at Women Leadership Events and Facilitating Youth Empowerment Workshops), Ghana (Keynote Speaker,Facilitation of Emotional Intelligence Master Class and Expert Presentation on Creative Innovation at West African Talent Summit), Malawi (Speaker at African Medical Conference – The role of Technology in Health), UK(Speaker at JD Edwards Conference – Outsourced Enterprise Solutions for Real Estate), Southern Africa (Creating, leading and facilitating various Leadership Development and Strategic Interventions.

Loving the written and spokenword, Hannelie is a published transformational author, poet, narrator, businessphilosopher, human whisperer, podcaster, and radio host. She has hosted 48online radio shows since 2021 on Leadership, Creativity, Innovation, TeamDynamics, and Women Empowerment. She also hosts The Gateway to the PossiblePodcast on Spotify and Google Podcasts, addressing dilemmas that humanityfaces, such as inequality, social justice, leadership, and new ways ofthinking. Hannelie initiated and shared 54 online workshops and immersive,embodied experiences during 2020 to support Humanity during the pandemic.  

Her paper, ‘Embodiment –the missing link in Creative Innovation’, has been published in the International Journal for Innovation in Management in 2017. Papers on Sensemaking– A novel approach to Business Strategy, Execution, and Innovation’ and ‘Human Centric Technological Innovation – The powerful partnership between Sense making and Technology’ and ‘What else is possible? – Embodied Sense making – A novel learning and discovery approach’ will be presented in2024.
